Island Kids stands apart from other early childhood centers! We believe children learn best through a play-based, hands-on approach. Our curriculum is organized around weekly and monthly themes, with learning centers that bring each theme to life. These centers focus on a variety of subjects and skills, including art, music, language arts, science, math, social studies, dramatic play, fine motor development, gross motor activities, and cooking.
Our Classrooms and Staff
We have separate classrooms for infants (3 months-17 months), toddlers (18-36 months), three-year-olds and four-year-olds. Each class is limited in size and staffed according to the proper staff to child ratio for that particular age group. Our classrooms are spacious and well equipped with a variety of age-appropriate educational materials. We have both indoor and outdoor play facilities available. Our staff is committed to providing the highest quality care and education in a safe and healthy environment. Each class is led by qualified, experienced, and nurturing teachers and assistants.
